E46 M3 Performance Remap in conjunction with Evolve Automotive + CSL Flap Control

Well, I won’t lie! It’s been a hectic few months finalizing and tweaking the latest build of the MSS5x Binary Modification Tool but we’re there at last!

ECUWorx and Evolve Automotive have teamed up for the latest build to make what is already a powerful tool, even better!


As you can see, the tool now includes the option to tune your UK/Euro E46 M3 with Evolve’s tried and tested ‘tune’. Using this tool you can now remap your vehicle using Evolves’ parameters to significantly improve how your E46 M3 accelerates and drives, whilst giving you enhanced throttle response and drivability, significantly more power at high RPM.

Here’s the run down from Evolve themselves:

2009 saw further developed and something completely new for the S54 engine to allow real power gains.

Many claims to 15-30hp+ have been made over the years but nothing ever materialised.

The E46 M3 S54 engine responds well to the right type of ECU software.  Conventional methods of advancing the ignition timing under full load has little effect.  This is what the industry has seen over the years with no gain in power neither on the road or the dyno.  Typically we saw improvements in throttle response and nothing more.
By re-calibrating ignition timing, VANOS timing, torque limiters and fueling more power/torque is available at both partial and full load.  Low end torque and top end power are the main areas which improve the most and it is these very areas which need improvement.
In terms of ‘peak’ power, between 20hp is available above 5000rpm.
The Evolve software makes a significant change to how the E46 M3 drives and accelerates. A standard car will accelerate well up to 5500rpm but beyond that the power begins to fall. Once upgraded the power continues to climb leading to a far more linear power delivery.

A ‘remap’ license is required to apply the Evolve parameters to your licensed binary at a cost of  £275.00. Yes, an Evolve Automotive remap for £275!


Also, CSL Intake Flap Control has been added to allow CSL / CSL Clone users to adjust when their intake flap opens / closes in both comfort and sport modes.
